Dear Partners, Position: Sr.Informatica/ETL Developer This is a contract to hire position.

Job Description:This position supports the design, development,
deployment, testing, and support of Information Technology systems or
services. Participates in small teams on assignments to accomplish
project goals. The focus of this position will be on data warehouse
and ETL activities using Informatica.
Responsibilities:
* Prepares database loadable files for the data warehouse
* Applies pre-defined business transformation rules
* Work with the source system analysts to understand the windows
available for data extraction
* Program, test, implement and maintain any data extraction
programs necessary to extract the data
* Programming the data acquisition tool with the rules to be
applied to the data
* Ensuring the correct application of the business rules through
data query after the data is loaded into the Data Warehouse
* Monitor loads to ensure successful completion
* Understands and participates in client's Change Management
process
* Create and manage daily, weekly, and monthly data operations and
schedule processes
* Identifies and Coordinates source data extraction from other
operational systems
* Obtain complete knowledge of the physical database schema
* Obtain knowledge of Informatica tool set.
* Participate in full testing cycle including bug fixes(Assembly,
System and Production)
* Perform Administrative Informatica Tasks. Participate/learn in
the following:
* Understand the current Informatica Architecture
* Ensure client security standards are enforced
* Perform Informatica upgrades when necessary
* Required Skills:
. 3+ years RDBMS (SQL Server and Oracle) knowledge.
* 3+ years PL/SQL, Oracle SQL, and SQL Server SQL experience.
* 3+ years experience with Unix Shell and Perl Scripting.
* 3+ years experience in data movement/data transformation
processes.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Knowledge of Unix/Windows on the level required for performing
development activities those environments.
* Good analytical and problem solving skills. Ability to
understand and translate requirements into technical design.
* High level of energy and enthusiasm. Must have strong
interpersonal, organizational and advanced problem solving skills. Needs
to be resilient; resolving conflicts quickly to achieve desired business
results
* Knowledge of a standard Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
or development methodology.
* Experience with any of the following tools: Toad, OEM, C, C++,
etc.
This spot requires a f2f interview with the client followed by a
telephonic screen.

Duration:6+ Months (Contract to Hire)
