Test/QA Engineer • BSCE or equivalent work experience. • 3 – 7 years or equivalent hands-on test experiences in SAN storage network system. • Strong knowledge or working experience in storage protocols such as FC and SCSI. • Must have worked in Linux/Unix, Window, and/or Solaris OS environment. VMWare experience would be a big plus. • Had C/C++ programming experience. Strong programming skill in Tcl/Expect and Perl scripting. Unix shell scripting a plus. • Familiar with the product test process, regression test, FC test equipment and code coverage tools. Have required technical skill set to analyze the defect root of cause, optimize the test configuration for feature test. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skill, and good team player. • Hands-on experience in or familiar with automation script Tcl/Expect development in complex test configuration. • Preferences: • Familiar with the product test process, regression test, SAN tests equipment, code coverage. Have required technical skills to analyze the defect root cause, optimize the test configuration for feature test. • Comfortable with technical and business English usage ( documents reading, e-mails, conference calls ) Review product functional spec, develop white-box test plan, design test cases, and execute the tests (manual and auto). • Design, configure, and set up test system according to test plan to test FC storage network devices. • Perform functional level verification test and system level integration test. Need to track test goals/progress using scenario and code coverage metrics. • Build and maintain automated nightly build test bed. • Collect trace or other system debug data, provide test report and result analysis, replicate result, assist in root cause analysis. • Automate the test scripts in Tcl/ Expect and conduct regression test during SQA phase Thank you, Team SQAFYI - Software QA Resource FYI http://sqa.fyicenter.com -- Introduce business in 3800 cities.
