Quality Assurance Technician # erform visual inspection, dimensional inspection, and test methods per sampling procedures to ensure components, subassemblies and finished products meet quality requirements and procedures with minimal supervision. # Ability to understand material specifications, component drawings, and sampling plans. # Perform functional testing of finished devices. # Complete quality records with testing results. # Initiate non-conforming material reports when applicable. # Perform verification and validation testing per approved protocol and engineering guidance. # Assist engineers in developing new quality inspection procedure, and test methods. # Maintain quality system databases ie: non-conforming material report, PM/ Calibration,reliability testing. # Initiate and submit Document Change Orders. # Process Document Control Orders per procedure. DUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Qualifications: Knowledge of FDA and ISO Quality System requirements. An individual must be able to perform each essential duty listed adequately. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability desired. Education and Experience: High School diploma required. 4+ years in QA/ QC experience required. Medical device experience preferred. Skills/Aptitudes: 1. Good math and English verbal/written communication skills. 2. Inspection tools: Calipers, gauges, Instron 3.
