Systems engineer with 5-7years experience Location: Indiana Duration: 12months+
The main responsibility is to enhance current data integration algorithms. Good understanding of data integration techniques and normalization algorithms is required. BS or higher in Computer Science or Information Science. 5+ year of programming experience in Java, .NET. Perl is preferred not required. Experience with UMLS (Unified Medical Language System) will be preferred. This is an ongoing project and this person will be joining a team of 6 people. This position is systems engineer with data mining. Responsibilities will include integrating data from multiple sources. There will be some system design and architectural design. Candidate to have Java and application development experience. Also prefer the following: .NET, UMLS, Text Mining, and Knowledge Discovery. Again, the ideal candidate has text mining, UMLS, and Java applications experience.
