This candidate will be very hands-on and must be able to hit the ground running. He/she will be interacting with users, team leads and developers from various other teams. He/she will be familiar with development best practices and may be required to participate in mapping business requirements into class structures, and will be required to test, analyze, and provide solutions to operational and performance problems. *Skill Requirements* -6+ years of Software Design & Development -Expert level VC++, C#, and .Net development skills -Mastery in data structures, algorithms, core libraries and their implementation details - STL, Boost, etc -Strong background in math and calculus is preferred -VC++ development experience, Networking/Communications development experience with TCP/IP, UDP and Serial (RS232) communications protocol -Experience in design and development of multi-threaded application software -Knowledge in Global Positioning Sensor hardware, video capture devices is a plus -Ability to debug data collection software systems in a vehicle -Very strong object-oriented analysis & programming skills -Expert in feature enhancements and defect resolution -Experience with Rational tools - Clearcase and Clearquest -Related experience with software source code control -Extensive experience in the full lifecycle software development process.
