Web Developer (Asp.net & PHP) Location: Kansas City 3 months to start Description: We are looking for a team of developers who are willing to take on an exciting new web-app that can scale from one to many LAMP servers, which will mostly aggregate data from Social Networking APIs and publish a secure bi-directional feed of results. Items which are important: * Previous Social Networking Interaction experience, specifically Facebook and Twitter interaction via their published API's. * Previous experience in developing scalable web applications that can take advantage of multiple servers, and handle significant concurrent Database reads/writes. Previous Cassandra experience is a plus. * Merchant Account Creation w/Subscription, meaning that it must either provide or connect to ecommerce solution which can take and process credit cards for a one time charge plus ongoing subscriptions. * Account Information page where users can update information, as well as a reporting interface of database statistics. * Database must store information securely. All provided sensitive data must be stored using well known encryption algorithms, yet remain retrievable. * Provide web design with "web2.0" feel. We will provide a list of sites to draw inspiration from, and while you will have most creative authority, you will be given well thought out direction on what the web-app must include.
