Please send resumes to [email protected] Duration : 6 months Location: Seattle ,WA Rate: DOE * * *Microstrategy Architect/Developer* Client is looking for an experienced Microstrategy resource that can assist with deployment and configuration of the Microstrategy business intelligence tool to provide reporting for Client’s Network Engineering and Operations organization. Ideal candidate will have experience in all phases of a typical Microstrategy deployment, including, but not limited to: server deployment/architecture, metadata creation, report/dashboard development, and post-deployment performance optimizations (I-Cubes, caching, etc). Knowledge of Microstrategy and general BI best practices and experience with latest Microstrategy software release (9.0) is also required. *Qualifications* · 4-5+ years of experience with Microstrategy Business Intelligence software, including expertise in latest software release (9.0). · Knowledge of all aspects of Microstrategy deployment and architecture, including: server configuration/architecture, metadata creation, report/dashboard development, and performance optimization. · Ability to leverage Microstrategy tools to make best use of resources and ensure optimum performance of the tool. Examples would be the use of I-cubes and caching to improve report performance, as well as the use of Enterprise Manager and Cube Advisor tools to understand usage patterns and make suggestions for improvements. · Knowledge of and experience implementing both Microstrategy-specific and general BI best practices. · Experience with integrating Microstrategy with heterogeneous data sources and the implementation of dynamic-sourcing. · Experience integrating Microstrategy with Netezza data sources a plus · Able to work alongside existing Client OSS resources to facilitate knowledge transfer and to allow them to have hands-on experience with the tool.
