Oracle 10g DB 2. Solaris 10 platform 3. Pl/SQl, ProC, unix shell progmg 4. Standalone c/c++ applications OOA+ OOD *Good to have:* AQ with oracle, TCP/IP sockets *Functional: *Brokerage exp- financial protocol FIX, Citi/UBS exp. *Duties and Responsibilities:* ** v Provides intermediate level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of client server and/or web-based applications. v Provides system analysis, design, development of enhancements and defect fixes in a distributed, multi-tiered environment, applying OOA and OOD techniques using C/C++, according to Client’s standardized methodology for Application Development. v Thoroughly understands application development methodology. v Thoroughly understands Information Security policies and procedures. Verifies all deliverables meet Methodology and Information Security requirements. v Trains and mentors staff with less experience. Resolves issues elevated from staff with less experience. v Translates Use Case Requirements, technical specifications and design into code for new or enhancement projects for internal and external clients. v Develops code that reuses objects, is well structured, includes sufficient comments and display diagnostics, and is easy to maintain. Writes programs, ad hoc queries, and reports. v Participates in design, code, and test inspections throughout the life cycle to identify issues/defects. Participates in other meetings, such as Use Case design and reviews. v Elevates code into the development environment on schedule. v Formally documents issues/defects and supports issue/defects resolution until closure. v Authors the system/technical portion of assigned deliverables. Assists technical team members with the system/technical portion of their deliverables, e.g., systems testers, test plans. v Acts as a tester for unit and integration and related testing. Writes the test plan to ensure requirements are satisfied. v Has the understanding of the tools available to test C/C++ code for coverage and memory leaks during unit testing. v Understands client business functions and technology needs.
