Job Title : System Development Manager Rates: Open Duration: 3-5 months Location: New York, NY Job Qualifications required for the Mainframe Systems Development Manager’s Position. · Extensive working knowledge of CICS internal structures. · Excellent knowledge of COBOL applications programming · Have analytical skills sufficient to evaluate the overall systems needs of assigned departments and assess costs, benefits and allocation of resources necessary to implement system plans. · Have planning skills sufficient to formulate plans to meet the overall systems needs of assigned departments and establish priorities and schedules for approved systems development projects. · Have a knowledge of systems analysis, programming and computer capabilities sufficient to direct the development, modification and maintenance of automated systems, supervise the work of IS staff, consult with user departments regarding use of data processing and with Operations staff and vendors regarding software purchase and utilization. · Have supervisory skills sufficient to direct the activities of assigned staff.
