Job Title: Business Technical Analyst
Expected Start Date: Immediate
Expected Duration (mo): 18

Location: Oak Brook, IL


Position Purpose: The RSM (Restaurant Systems Management) Business Analysis
position works under the Support Analytics Team, within the clients I/T USA
organization. The purpose of this position is to further integrate data
capturing and develop improved support processes with the help desk, RSM
Center of Excellence, supplier management, and the field.


The three main goals of RSM data utilization include:

1) Maximized technology availability within the restaurant.

2) Identification and resolution of system-wide issues.

3) Reduction of Help Desk calls.


Support Analytics works with the RSM COE, who manages the Microsoft SCOM
(System Center Operations Manager) and SCCM (Systems Center Configuration
Manager) which provides detail and event based restaurant technology data.

Principal Accountabilities:
Excellent verbal, communication, listening, and writing skills
Ability to capture key conversational messages and subsequently summarize
and document them
Conduct and facilitate requirements gathering sessions with internal and
external teams/clients.
Ability to network with internal and external resources to independently
seek answers and obtain solutions.
Good issue identification skills and a sense of urgency to address and
resolve problems.
Demonstrates ownership and accountability by consistently solving problems
using best practice solutions.
As a business technical analyst, work closely with cross-functional teams to
ensure requirements, test plans, communications and product outcomes achieve
desired results.
Good prioritization skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at one
time.
A strong understanding of POS register systems, network components and
topology, back office computers and processing, and other technical hardware
devices found within a quick serve restaurant.
The ability to create/develop processes, standards, and procedures. Create
process document, technical supporting documentation, and other materials as
required.
The ability to identify & resolve store-level issues based on Help Desk call
data, SCOM data, and other available sources of information.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and Word skills.



Minimum requirements for position:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
3-5 years Business Analyst or equivalent experience
3-5 years experience working with I/T related projects
