Send resumes to *[email protected]* *Position:* *Senior Automation Test Engineer* *Location: SOMERSET, NJ* *Duration: 6 Months * *Position Description* System Tester needed to participate in the testing of Client Intelligent Power Distribution Units. This position will be reporting to the System Test Manager in Somerset, NJ. ********Experience with Selenium and Java is must********** *ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* ** ** - Translate end user requirements into value added test cases. - Creation & execution of acceptance and system test cases. - Creation and verification of detailed Change Requests - Reporting and tracking of test results - Lab planning and setup - Participate in knowledge transfer training. - Duplication and associated investigation of escalation field issues. - Interface with Technical Support, Development and Product Management during trouble investigation. - Working knowledge of Basic electrical power management and distribution and use of PDUs in a data center environment - Extensive user experience with Linux including command-line tools, network configuration, software installation, and performance profiling. - SW tool experience: - ssh/scp/rsync - postgresql console - cvs - Eventum - perl/bash scripting - HP test tools suite - Open Source test tools such as TestLink, etc - SNMP management - Design and implement software automation techniques to improve test execution, reliability of test results and improve overall time to market. - Ability to create and execute load, stress test, and perform automated testing for web and / or client server applications. - Understanding of System Test best practices as well as the dynamics of the entire project lifecycle. - Excellent analysis, troubleshooting, and technical skills. - Accountability and the ability to multi-task/manage changing priorities. - Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting. - Good oral and written communication and interpersonal skills required. - Experience with Agile development methodology - Team player *REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS * - Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field. - 5+ years hands on system test activities experience of products in a Linux, Windows, Java, C++, web-based environments - Experience developing system-level test plans and procedures for requirement based testing activities - Experience with Eclipse, *Selenium* IDE and Testing - Experience with defect tracking systems (e.g. bugzilla, Eventum, GNATS) - Experience with LAN/WAN networking technologies/protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, SNMP) - Five years testing experience in process controlled development environment (CMM, ISO,…) *DESIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS** * - Familiarity with XML formatting and editing. - Familiarity with SNMP querying. - Experience with HP Interactive tools (QC, QTP, Loadrunner) and other open source test tools (TestLink) - Experience with test automated testing framework - Experience with 802.11.x wireless protocols - Experience with AAA protocols (e.g. Radius, LDAP) ** - Recommended tool experience: - tcpreplay - vbscript (Windows) - RPM packaging - openssl - knoppix - GRUB bootloader - wbemtest (Windows) - systemimager - snmpwalk · Technical Certifications (i.e. CCNA, MCSE. ** Feel free to call me @ *248-458-1322 * 207* Thanks & Regards Mona KSOURCE Inc Tel: 248-458-1322 X 207 | 972-607-9839 X 207 | Email: [email protected] IM: [email protected] www.ksourceinc.com -- Introduce business in 3800 cities.
