I am looking for a Sr. Fixed Income Data Analyst
3+ month contract
NY
Minimum Position Requirement
Minimum BA or BS Degree in a business-related major
Minimum of 10+ years experience working in Fixed Income Data Analysis with
specific experience of Ratings data and Global Fixed Income Securities terms
and conditions data, including Hybrids
Minimum 10+ years experience in accurate representation and classification of
Global Fixed Income Securities structures, organizational ownership structures
and hierarchies.
Highly experienced in formulating and presenting strategic recommendations
Proven excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Familiarity with Linux, Java, Oracle would be advantageous
Strong skills and experience in relationship building with internal
stakeholders
Strong written and verbal skills
Proven track record in successful delivery of projects to requirements and to
deadlines
Position Summary:
As a highly experienced Fixed Income Data Consultant, your primary
responsibility to work on a project to review and overhaul data classifications
and representation of fixed income data sets, instrument types and
organizational data in internal credit database and products, and propose
necessary changes to meet stakeholder requirements.
The role involves understanding the current data model, the inbound and
outbound data flows and workflow processes; interviewing internal users and
stakeholders to gather and document requirements; proposing changes to the data
model, data presentation and processes to better serve the need for accurate,
consistent and granular data classifications; and producing and presenting the
necessary documentation to support the recommendations and proposals.
