* * *Required Java Developer* * * * * * * * * *Location: Sacramento, CA (Need Local to CA only)* * * *Duration: 6 Months* * * *Responsibilities:* · Apply object-oriented design principles, industry best practices (e.g. Design Patterns), and company policies and procedures to design and implement new features. · Construct various application components using Swing, socket connections, multi-threading, multicast, and state of the art memory debugging / profiling tools. · Review business requirements and use cases, and provide feedback to management and/or business analysts. · Learn quickly and develop creative solutions, encompassing software integration, performance, reliability, manageability and security. · Collaborate with other developers as well as with business management, configuration management, and quality assurance in order to complete their job responsibilities. · Assist other developers in solving complex problems. · Help troubleshoot critical issues in production. * * *Requirements:* · Minimum two years Java 5 development experience · Minimum two years Swing development experience · Minimum two years experience with JDBC and SQL · Experience with multi-threading, including interfacing with Swing · Experience with socket programming · Strong object oriented design skills · Experience with distributed applications · Able to communicate effectively in a team environment · Experience with team-based version control and Subversion · Experience with Java 6 preferred · Message oriented middleware experience preferred · Senior level experience preferred · Perl/Shell scripting experience preferred · Experience with Scrum and/or Agile SDLC preferred · Sun Java Certification Preferred -- Introduce business in 3800 cities.
