Position : UNIX ADMIN ( *FACE 2 FACE AFTER TELEPHONIC ROUND* ) Dur : 6months
Location: Montvale, NJ Details include: -Assist in the design, implementation, and day to day support for all UNIX servers in the Montvale, NJ Regional Data center as well as remote sites. ( Some travel may be required) -Install and build AIX Micro Partitioning Virtualization LPARs - PowerVM / Advanced Power. -Install and build SUN Servers, Containers and Domains -Configure TSM Clients, APIs, RMAN and Schedules. Assist in Disaster Recovery test. -Documentation of environments and inventory. -Application Support from a UNIX perspective – tuning, patching, and security. Knowledge/Skills: -IBM or SUN Systems Administration Certifications recommended -SUN Solaris Administration V8, 9, &10 -SUN Containers and Domains - Extensive AIX Systems Architect experience with a focus on virtualization -LPAR / DLPAR, VIO -Excellent AIX 5.2, 5.3 and 6.1 skills - Tivoli Storage Manager, (JR Level Administration. Client and API configuration) -Veritas Volume Manager and AIX LVM -Experience mapping SAN allocated LUNS to Virtualized VIOS Server -Experience in creating SEA and VSCSI mapping to VIO client -Experience with IBM P5 & P6 hardware such as P520, P570, P590 and P595 -Experience with SUN HW – 245, 445, 3000, 8000 -Expertise in functions of HMC installation, configuration, backup critical console data and maintenance experience -Shell Scripting, understanding of Java, Perl and C++ -Experience with Networking technologies and protocols. (Routing, TCPIP, DNS. FTP, SSH... etc) -General Knowledge of Databases – Oracle, UDB and SQL Server -Knowledge of SAN and NAS technologies (HBAs, MPIO, NetApp OnTap) -Excellent Communication and Project Management skills -Experience in MS Visio, MS Office, and Lotus Notes Experience in the following is a plus: -IBM Blade centers. -WPARs -RH Linux on P series -HACMP, HADR -HPUX Please send the profiles -> [email protected] -- Introduce business in 3800 cities.
