Job Description
Develops, executes and delivers quality functionality within specified
timeframes utilizing manual
and automated testing tools. Follows established standards and best
practices for testing and
reports test results in a clear and accurate manner
Essential Assignment Functions: (Main functions of this role. Please be
descriptive.)
. Participates in requirements and design reviews, develops and
executes test plans and test
cases to ensure the quality of MVP's core applications and systems
. Documents defects and works with developers, business users and
project team to resolve
issues.
. Serves as an integral member of an enterprise-wide testing team,
and is responsible for
following established standards and best practices, and reporting testing
results clearly and
accurately
. Provide assistance to IT personnel and business partners in the
use of templates and tools
. Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to regulatory
compliance issues as they exist
and change from time to time
. Other duties as required.
Special Skills/Qualifications: (Please be specific in
qualifications/required skill sets. - i.e. 4+
years Facets experiences)
. Health Care Experience/Delivery process required.
. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business experience required in
Health Care/Business
. Administration, Software Quality Assurance, Computer Science or
related field.
. 3+ years test analyst experience in an IT organization.
. 3+ years experience testing Facets application
. Excellent understanding of standard formal testing methodologies
required.
. Experienced in testing business system updates and changes and
working multiple projects
simultaneously required.
. Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Dedication to
meeting deadlines and
. ensuring quality delivery.
. Excellent interpersonal skills: (e.g., partnering, conflict
management, mentoring)
. Strong verbal and written communication skills
. Knowledge of SQL desired.
. Must be comfortable working in a team environment as well as
independently, and possess
a sense of accountability and urgency in completing assignments.
. Ability to successfully adapt & apply industry best
practices/concepts while addressing
constraints of organizational, political and technical hurdles.
. Software Testing Certification or ITIL a plus.
