Business Analyst local to CA · About 7 years of experience in the field of business analysis, business Process Flows and Case Tools · Extensive working experience with announcements, project charter, Business requirement documentation and functional requirement documents and finally leading to technical specs · Excellent understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and its modeling techniques like Waterfall, Spiral, Iterative Models (RUP-Rational Unified Process) and Agile Programming Methodology . · Proficient in interacting with business users and other clients to identify business needs and requirements. · Skilled in creating Use Cases, Business Context diagrams, Work Flow Diagrams, Activity diagram, class diagram, Implementation checklists, RAM(Responsibility Assignment Matrix) · Creating Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), risk analysis, time sheets, and project plan. · Conducted and Participated in JAD sessions. · Skilled in creating database schemas, relations, dependencies, flow and then querying it. · Good knowledge of normalization, 3 normal forms and the conditions that state the 3NF. Minimize redesign when extending the database structure and free the database of modification anomalies. · Skilled querying teradata from out bound server to inbound server and then to different tables. · Experience working on RUP process, phases and RUP tools. · Experience in performing GAP Analysis between AS IS and TO BE workflow models · Strong knowledge of UNIX and WINDOWS platforms · Experience with Project Scope, Project Charter and Work Breakdown Structure(WBS) · Expertise in writing SQL Queries, Views and Stored Procedures in Oracle and SQL Server. · Experience in creating logical and physical data model for the applications. · Assisted various members of the project team including development, technical and business team members to resolve issues, retesting the defects, validating results and communicating status and issues · Created data dictionary, data mapping document and decision rules for data model. · Good mentoring, analytical and presentation skills with strong communication skills. · Organize weekly project status meetings, Walkthroughs and Inspections. · Team player with strong communicational, organizational and problem solving skills.
