Role: Senior Business Analyst Rate: Competitive Travel 50-75% Summary: The implementation of an Healthcare solution (Medikiosk, Portal,etc.) into a hospital, clinic or physician office infrastructure and operational environment is a sophisticated technical and change management process. Often multiple departments of are involved in implementing a single solution. Coordination of all activities is paramount for success. The Solution Integration Consultant (SIC) provides the technical, operations, and business expertise to effectively integrate the healthcare solution into the client’s environment. The SIC works with the client to establish formal solution requirements, translates those requirements into installation specifications, establishes test scripts to validate solution requirements and works with the client to execute the test plans, and train client associates in the proper operations of the solution. The SIC leads the implementation team, and provides recommendations and options for operating the solution successfully within the specific healthcare environment and restrictions. The Solution Integration Consultant (SIC) is a primary driver of client readiness and satisfaction and project success. Experience required: Experience in healthcare information technology required based on domain expertise (HL7, EDI, HIS, EMR, PM, SCH, DM / DI, RIS, PACS, Workflow, Other Clinical, etc…) Must have 5+ years of professional business experience including 2+ years of experience eliciting requirements from various customers and projects. In addition, 2+ years experience with understanding and documenting API'''s between healthcare information systems. Education: Bachelor of Science from an accredited university in the area of healthcare, business, technical or professional discipline requiring application of critical thinking, logic, writing, and oral communication skills. Travel: Travel time will average 50-75% over the course of a year depending upon project assignments. Peak travel (rare occasions) may require weekends or extended trips (more than 5 days).
