*Should start by April 1st* * * *The Sys Admin will have three primary responsibilities:* o Production environment configuration o *Installation and deployment in a data center* – will need to work closely with release management team and work with remote teams o Monitoring production environment – this involves monitoring from an up-time perspective as well as overall process control perspective *Technical* 1. Setup and configuration of WAS 7.0 clusters on Linux (ZLinux preferred) *Mandatory* 2. Proficiency with Linux-provided monitoring and other system utilities *Mandatory* 3. Prior experience as part of a team manning a production environment (prior experience leading a team preferred) * Mandatory* 4. Troubleshooting, root-cause analysis and resolution of issues (including outages) under production-environment SLAs *Mandatory* 5. Deploying J2EE applications on WAS/Oracle on Linux (WAS 7.0, Oracle 10g, ZLinux preferred; WAS 6.x & Oracle 9i is a minimum) * Mandatory * 6. Prior experience with ensuring compliance for security certifications *Nice to Have* 7. Experience on Oracle 10g *Nice to Have* 8.
