we are looking for a *“BMC Remedy Developer”* *Location:* Long Island, NY *Duration:* 6 Months *Start:* ASAP *Remedy Developer Skills: * - Senior Remedy AR developer with strong skills in customer application development (forms, guides, filters, workflow, escalations, etc) - Experienced in the installation and upgrade of AR systems to include ARS 6.3 and 7.6 - Familiar with LDAP integration of AR user records - Operating systems include Sun Solaris and Red Hat Linux (64bit) - Web server is Weblogic supporting Remedy mid-tier 7.01 with upgrade to 7.6 mid-tier - Must have strong eclipse AR 7.6 development experience *Efforts include:* Upgrade of existing AR 6.3 system and Mid-tier 7.01 to 7.6. This effort includes: - a. Upgrading one existing development instance on Sun Solaris from ARS 6.3 to 7.6 with initial compatibility testing of preexisting applications. - b. Upgrade of our test environment using an ARS 6.3 DB (Oracle 10.2 RAC) on a new Red Hat Linux server environment. The environment will be a two server group. Testing will include compatibility of new environment as well as performance load testing - c. Final upgrade of production environment moving from single Sun AR server to two server Linux environment in a server group configuration. Custom AR Application Development: Include a host of enhancements to existing custom applications using new AR 7.6 Eclipse IDE. Work will also include upgrading existing mid-tier implementations to take advantage of new J2EE support features provided in AR 7.6 to include dynamic top and side navigation.
