client. They are looking for a Ab Initio Sr. Lead and the following is a more
detailed description of the job.
Position: Ab Initio Sr. Lead
Location: Richmond, Virginia
Duration: 3 Months Contact
Minimum Experience / Relevance
8 Years of total IT / BIDW Experience
5 to 7 Years of Ab initio Experience
Skills (Mandatory)
· Expert Knowledge / Experience in Abinitio Tools
o Designing Mappings, Graphs etc
o Experience in using different expressions , filters etc
o Performance Improvement
· Skills in gathering Business Requirements
· Design skills of abinitio Jobs
· Knowledge of Code Review standards with industry known best practices
· Experience in understanding ERPs & various Domains
· Expertise in developing complex transformations, scheduling, graphs
· Good ETL Testing methodologies and framework
· Knowledge on all the nitty-gritty of data loading methodologies
· Good Knowledge in key ETL concepts like Change data capture, Error /
Rejection handling, Metadata and audit trail
· Expertise in Performance tuning of Abinitio process
· Knowledge in Code Migration procedures and validations
· Knowledge and experience in Support Processes (Incident Management,
SLAs, ETL Load Monitoring, Common Issues and fixes, RCCA, change management,
code release process)
· Good Knowledge on third-party schedulers (Autosys, Control-M etc)
· Excellent expertise in SQL, PLSQL (expert level knowledge in one
Database)

Roles & Responsibilities
· Gathering requirements by conducting interviews Business Users
· Creating Detailed design document with the help from architects and
stakeholders
· Gap Analysis on the existing ETL environment
· Impact Analysis of the change required to be made for the requirements
· Importing database object definitions from disparate sources and
managing the meta data objects for sources & targets
· Developing Mappings, Graphs using various transformations
· Ability to work on complex logics
· Create Parameterization
· Run Initial and incremental loadings and perform data validations
· Unit test workflows, mappings and validate with test cases
· Trouble shooting jobs for the identified issues/bugs
· Carrying out Code Migration
· Technical documentation (user guides, support/ hand over documentation)
