Please respond back with updated resume to <mailto:[email protected]> [email protected] ASAP Woodland Hill, CA Oracle DBA 5 Months Contract, possible extension Interview: Technical Phone, then In-Person Responsibilities: * Install, upgrade, refresh, and maintain database environments, including production and development / test. * Manage database elements including schemas, table spaces, tables, views, user login, indexes, stored procedures, triggers and declarative integrity constraints. * Support production systems, including fulfilling on-call responsibilities, data import / export jobs, query tuning, back-ups / recovery, performance monitoring, and capacity planning, * Participate in the design and implementation of Disaster Recovery plans / capabilities. * Support Engineers by consulting on query design, tuning, and delivering test data, including obfuscation. * Strong knowledge of software development methodologies and best practices * Ability to comfortably move across high-level technical design, detailed technical design, implementation, and production support. * Ability to use seasoned judgment to suggest approaches that optimize among customer needs, business constraints and technological realities * Strong communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation. * Enjoy working in a team environment.
