Familiarity with the latest JEE/J2EE paradigms and other pertinent technical domain expertise is expected Assist the team in implementing commercially-feasible end-to-end software services Direct responsibility for detailed design and implementation is a must *Qualifications* 5 to 10 years of experience designing and developing internet based software systems. Expertise with Web services, SOA, including RESTful, JSON, Ajax, SOAP, WSDL principles Creating, adapting, and interfacing large scale data models and data sets for Web services Leveraging application servers such as Glassfish, JBoss, Tomcat or equivalent Use of cloud computing services such as S3/EC2, Mosso, App Engine a plus Building solutions using Hadoop/HBase, BigTable, S3, CloudFS or similar data service Proficiency with JEE and experience with test frameworks such as JUnit Knowledge of build and CI systems such as Maven & Hudson to manage large and complex code base Familiarity with development efforts using SCRUM or similar Agile methodologies Previous Web services implementation experience Ideal candidate should have worked on an end-to-end solution and led the initial design, component realization, and integration of the system Maintain and expand monitoring and trending systems.
