*Financial Business Analyst - 1 Position (Support)* Client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst who is a Self-starter with a “can-do” attitude in a fast-moving business environment to join the IT team as a contractor and help build and maintain IT applications footprint. This is a full-time contract position based in our main office in downtown Palo Alto. Location - Palo Alto, CA Duration - 6Months + Rate - Give me your best least rates. *Responsibilities* Provide hands-on functional & configuration support for applications in areas including OM, AR, Ariba Purchasing, AP, CE, FA, GL and Hyperion Essbase. Provide day-to-day support and quality assurance for projects and tasks Gather and document business requirements on IT enhancements Document and manage business process flows charts Assist in defining and optimizing simple yet effective business processes and drive change within the organization through consensus-building Ensure ERP initiatives follow the proper planning, scheduling and management processes Manage on-time project delivery and business expectations and ensure internal customer satisfaction Provide hands on analysis, design, testing, implementation and post implementation support Configure applications based on requirements submitted by business partners and best practices Promote user adoption by preparing training documentation and conduct training sessions for business users Build test cases & manage User Acceptance Tests Assist with risk management and change management on projects Create ad-hoc reports, queries and data extracts as requested *Requirements* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance or related field 5+ years as Financial analyst in high tech company Worked on 2+ R12 ERP implementations with hands-on experience in configuration and customizations Strong business acumen and working knowledge of Financial processes in OTC, PTP and RTR Strong knowledge of project management fundamentals and experience running small to mid-size projects Ability to multi-task across multiple concurrent projects is required Experience in software development life-cycle processes and methodologies on multiple projects. ------------------------------ *Business Analyst - 1 Position (Project)* Client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst who is a Self-starter with a “can-do” attitude in a fast-moving business environment to join the IT team as a contractor and help build and maintain IT applications footprint.
