I need your assistance in search of a * Java Developer with Amazon Web Services *. Thank you in advance for your assistance Role: Java Developer with Amazon Web Services Duration : 12 Months Location : NJ Rate : Open Develop internal web based applications that enable scientific applications and computations to be completed on a cloud based infrastructure. These applications will work with open source environments with the Amazon Cloud based framework interfacing with EC2, Elastic MapReduce, and S3 storage. Responsibilities: Meet with scientific community and project leaders to understand their current operating model, and objectives. Support cloud computing strategy, business model, and roadmap development from a technical perspective including identification of potential obstacles and solutions regarding the use of cloud computing in a client environment. Document business, functional, and technical requirements for cloud solutions. Address client concerns and work to tailor cloud solutions to meet or exceed client expectations. Meet with client to develop detailed delivery plans for cloud integration into dev/stage/production environments. Work to ensure that projects proceed on schedule. Evaluate and select cloud computing service providers and tools. Work with product support engineer to install, configure, and test the product(s) in dev/stage/production Lead migrations of existing applications to internal and external cloud providers. Provide regular status updates and demos to the client Skills In Order of Importance: Java Programmer Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience a must Linux / Unix and shell scripting Python/Ruby/Perl skills a plus Excellent Communication / Interpersonal Skills Proficient with Windows, Unix and Linux environments Have a nice day......
