* * *Hope you are doing great,* * * *This is Victor from EZEN Computer Services Inc , Please do let me know if you have anyone for the below requirement, if yes, kindly reply me back with your updated resume in word format, contact information, current location, visa status and rate.* * * * * * * *Subject:** System Administrator (AIX and Websphere) * *Duration : 6 Months * *Location: Cincinnati, OH* AIX Skills *General Requirements:* · AIX Systems Administration, including systems installation, configuration, and troubleshooting · Server security management · Planning and installation of third party software, backups and restores · Daily monitoring of System Performance · Daily monitoring and investigation of the System Log for unusual activities/errors/warnings. · Database monitoring for usage capacity and performance. · Production job monitoring for errors. · Ensuring daily backups are successfully completed · Support of Application Packages and application databases as agreed to by the organization’s business stakeholders including performance monitoring and performance tuning · Client copies and/or refreshes as agreed to by the organization’s business stakeholders · Troubleshooting analysis of application problems within the Functional and Development streams · Application of AIX kernel upgrades · Knowledge of Oracle will be a plus · Serve as liaison to software vendors · Maintain current and accurate documentation of systems configuration and operational processes · Follow ITIL processes for incident management, change management and problem management · Compliance with ISO 20000 and ISO 27001 standard processes *Specific Requirements:* * * · 7 + years relevant experience as a AIX Administrator in managing Production systems preferably with Oracle database · IBM AIX system administration certification required · Good understanding of the AIX operating system (and clusters a plus) including paging and swapping, inter-process communication, devices and device driver functionality, file system concepts and be able to implement new file systems. · Familiarity with IBM p-Series including p4, p5, p6 servers, LPAR configuration and management · AIX System security (wrappers, SSH, sudo, logging, auditing, intrusion analysis) · Experience and knowledge of UNIX shell scripts · The person should have some Oracle experience · Experience in managing external EMC storage in SAN environment is a plus · Experience in administering servers in IBM HACMP Cluster Server failover environment is a plus. · Experience in TSM backup and restore is a plus · Relevant experience in use of ITIL processes · Effective interpersonal and communication skills · Willingness to work on flexible working hours including weekends Websphere Skills *General Requirements:* · This position will provide IBM Websphere = · Install, configure and maintain Websphere Application server 5.1 and Websphere Portal 5 server · Tune WAS parameters for optimal system performance. · Install, configure and maintain IBM MQ series queues for business application use · Ensure proper setting of system memory and system parameters in consultation with system administrators · Create and maintain application servers with optimal configurations and data source · Knowledge about Oracle database systems as backend to web applications · Knowledge about QA processes, Sitescope and/or any other monitoring software · Aid developers in detecting performance problems including analysis of traffic patterns, scalability, load testing and redundancy · Provide continuous monitoring, troubleshooting, historical and real time performance monitoring of the Websphere and Portal server environments. · Knowledge about web single sign-on · Participate in “On Call” weekly shift supporting off hours and weekend activity. This is rotating assignment shared with other members of the team as necessary. · Manage fully redundant load balanced Websphere services using IBM Edge, or · Manage fully redundant load balanced Websphere services using Netscaler · Develop and maintain Unix scripts supporting the web administration function. · Manage the setup of Websphere services at Business Continuity Center. · Follow ITIL process in the system administration and need to be familiar with ISO 20000 and ISO 24001 processes, including maintaining up-to-date documentation. * * *Specific Requirements:* · 7+ years relevant experience in the management of Websphere, Websphere portal servers; and web administration tasks in Sun Solaris, IBM AIX and Red Hat Linux environment. · Strong Production experience in managing Websphere clustered load balanced environment for mission critical system · Manage Production Websphere and Portal systems for mission critical applications in complex environment with minimum supervision. · Strong knowledge of Solaris, AIX and Linux operating system environment · Relevant experience with system backup and recovery * * Please feel free to call or mail for further details, thanks and Have a great day.
