*Location:* ANN ARBOR, MI *Duration:* 6 months *Required:* Locals, Face-Face *Locals Only* *Required Experience: * - Minimum 3+ years of experience developing commercial software applications in a structured software development environment. - Significant (2+ years) hands-on experience with Java, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), experience working with relational databases and solid familiarity with software design patterns. - Strong oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. - Strong analytical skills, design skills, technical writing skills, and problem-solving ability. *Desired Qualifications: * - Use and development of Web Services, SOAP, XML, etc - Familiarity with relational database concepts such as data warehousing, star schema, SQL, OLAP technology and tools such as Analysis Services, MDX - Experience with business intelligence tools such as Cognos or Business Objects - Experience with developing rich internet applications using AJAX, Flex, or similar technologies - Experience with Linux and UNIX environments - Agile development experience including test-driven development - Experience with JUnit, Ant, Cruise Control Designs, develops, and implements web-based Java applications to support business requirements. Follows approved life cycle methodologies, creates design documents, and performs program coding and testing. Resolves technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation.
