REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE: Seeking Cognos developer with minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience Develop code artifacts - modules, classes, methods, scripts, etc. -along with corresponding unit test artifacts. Develop Cognos Framework Model and Reports. Involved in the full systems life cycle and may be responsible for all or part of designing, developing, testing, implementing and supporting applications software that is delivered on time, within approved budget and in line with business objectives. Assist/participate in component and data architecture design, performance engineering, product evaluation and buy vs. build recommendations. Break down business requirements into activities and artifacts that when realized, produce software that meets the business requirements. Unit Test Documentation Assist Product Verification CUSTOMER needs a heads-down developer in Cognos, specifically: Report Studio Framework Manager Building and optimizing frameworks - especially optimization - this is very important due to the warehouse size. CUSTOMER needs to extend COGNOS-based reporting to a large audience via its Agent Extranet, so optimization is critical as Cognos isn't intended as a high-volume, externalized tool.
