*Location: Jersey City, NJ* * * * * *Duration: Year end 2010 or longer* * * * * *Job Description:* * * Ø Looking for a VMware Administrator / Engineer who will report to Asset Management Group and will be resposible for the end to end management of a VMware environment that spans 3 data centers, 18 VM hosts and 310 VM guests. - Extremely knowledgeable and highly proficient in architecting best practices, implementation and support of VMware Virtual Infrastructure (vSphere 4). - Ability to work independently, uses time efficiently to deliver results, and operational efficiency - Real world knowledge of fundamental and advanced concepts, best practices, procedures and experience in a global 24/7 environment. - Interact with architecture/engineering groups as well as other staff to ensure optimized support. - Create maintenance and daily pro-active processes and procedures for Operational group to follow. - Providing documentation and or training to operations and helpdesk staff to resolve VMware support issues. - Ensure that the contingency infrastructure is in a constant state of readiness to recover applications and resume business in accordance with the published SLA’s. - Development of integrated end-to-end infrastructure Disaster Recovery test plans. - Capacity monitoring and planning for VMware infrastructure expansion and review of existing infrastructure for dead VMs. *Please send resumes to [email protected]* -- Introduce business in 3800 cities.
