** Title: VB.Net Developer Location: MA****Local Only**** Duration:6+ months Our client is seeking an Application Developer to work with the Application Development & Integration Team to provide technical leadership and support in the areas of analysis, design, development, implementation and maintenance of new and existing web based applications. The Application Developer's primary function is to scope, design, build, and implement integrated applications to include and not be limited to online applications, dynamic database-driven applications, SQL-based reporting solutions, and other Web-enabled applications. The Application Developer is expected to quickly become proficient with the skills and toolsets in use at the client's department. This position requires strong problem solving skills, web development skills, and solid verbal and written communication skills. Responsibilities Include: § Consult with end users to investigate and determine problems, design proposed solutions, and define specifications and code applications. § Conduct performance analysis of new and/or upgraded systems. § Design, develop, test and maintain application systems. § Develop and maintain documentation for client application systems. § Develop web-enabled applications as they relate to improving the existing web infrastructure and integration to new system § Create dynamic reporting solutions using the business intelligence toolset and MS SQL Reporting Services. § Collaborate with developers on new technologies to improve development environment. § Assist with client requests (regardless of how varied they may be). § May be required to assist with SQL/DTS requests; reporting services, and build user interfaces to SQL stored procedures. Experience: 3+ years demonstrated proficiency in existing or similar technologies in a large organization. Demonstrated expertise with VB.Net, SQL Programming, and Reporting Services. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to multi-task, collaborate and work effectively within a team environment. Qualifications: Education: Required: A.
