Analysis includes determining if there are any resource constraints impacting performance and modeling the performance of systems under different infrastructure configurations and test loads. · Candidate should have knowledge of server resource monitoring concepts and performance testing methodology. · The candidate must have a familiarity with server resource concepts: o CPU utilization and Queuing o Memory Utilization and Paging o Disk Utilization and Disk Queue o Network latency and bandwidth · Performance Testing Methodology Concepts o User concurrency o Target Volumes o Success Criteria · Candidate should have basic knowledge of multi-tier applications and understand the relationships between tiers. · Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to prepare technical documents including charts, graphs and diagrams.
