The Digital Publishing Team at Client is seeking a highly motivated Black Box Quality Engineer This Quality Engineer will help ensure the quality of the application across multiple platforms and devices by designing, documenting, developing and executing detailed manual and automated test plans. The candidate must be able to perform complex defect isolation and analysis, and develop creative, original solutions to challenging problems. He/she should be able to communicate clearly and be able to interact with different functional groups: development, technical support, product and program management. Responsibilities • 3-5 years of quality engineering experience with Flash/AS3/AIR applications • 1-2 years of quality engineering experience with mobile applications and devices • Strong communication and inter-personal skills. • Ability to work across teams and with geographically remote team members • Motivated self-starter with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies. • Minimum B.Sc. in Computer Science or equivalent • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience quality engineering complex software systems including UI and server-side integration testing • Knowledge of InDesign and publishing industry workflows is desired Looking forward to receive profiles from you.
