*Job Title: *.Net *Job Description: *Overview: The position is for a Solution Center 2nd Level Support Analyst in the Information Technology – Systems Development Department of a dynamic and growing Hedge Fund of Funds firm. The primary responsibility of this position is to deliver technical support to end users in the organization concerning the use of various business related software programs ensuring users are efficient and effective in fulfilling business objectives. The ideal candidate is a high-caliber performer and ready to make a significant contribution to the support of critical accounting and investment applications. The selected candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to, the following. Essential Duties: Troubleshoot applications to provide solutions or workarounds to the 1st§level support analysts Develop detail understanding of the application§ functionality and data model for supported business applications Develop§ and test SQL queries on application data to help answer specific business queries, troubleshoot issues, or to result in re-usable assets for application support Develop and test self-help user queries and reports§ Lead root§ cause analysis effort to uncover the source of system defects and issues. Includes working closely with business analysts, developers, and end users during investigation Inspect application code visually or using a debugger§ to help uncover the source of issues and application defects Document issue§ resolution and root cause analysis resolutions as well as application defects using the department tracking system Design, deliver, and improve in-house§ software applications training programs and related user documentation § Participate in functional and regression testing cycles, as required Assist§ Senior Business Analysts and Developers to craft creative and technically sound solutions to meet end-user needs Tracking of end-user change requests,§ including working with Systems Development management to organize the requests across all business areas General Education, Skills or Experience and Physical Requirements: The individual’s experience should be specific to the investment industry and be clearly focused on developing systems solutions and enhancements. The ideal candidate will possess: Technical Skills § BA/BS Degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science or a related field At§ least 1 year of application development experience, preferably with Microsoft technologies, including ASP.NET and C# SQL query and reporting technology§ skills are required Aptitude for understanding both technology and business§ concepts and processes The ability to articulate your thoughts in a clear§ and concise manner to through written correspondence, presentations and/or meetings Working knowledge of systems design and§ architecture Professional Skills The ability to manage multiple§ tasks simultaneously in a cross functional team environment and independently bring tasks to closure Attention to detail and concern for quality and§ accuracy of final product (and ability to balance that concern with deadlines) Strong analytical and communication skills to facilitate the§ elicitation of user issues, challenging preconceived ideas and proposing alternative solutions, while maintaining strong relationships Demonstrated§ team player, self-starter, and independent thinker Outstanding decision§ making and problem solving skills Ability to adapt within a rapidly§ changing high pressure environment *Job Req: **2-3 years experience *Investment Background *Great Communication * *Regards, Sanjay Kumar COMNet Group Inc.
