*Need:** Tool and Test Engineer position *
*Duration:** 3 months*
*Rate:** $40/hr*
*Location:** Quakertown, PA*
*Academic Degree(s) required:*
4 Year Degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
*Experience Required:*
- Minimum 5 years experience in software (C++, C#)
1. 2 years of these in *C# - must have*
- Minimum 2 years experience in analog electrical design
- Understand manufacturing equipment safety requirements (i.e. grounding,
2 hand rule, Class I, II)
- Familiarity with Communication Protocols (Ethernet, USB, RS-485)
- Good communication skills including the ability to quickly and
effectively communicate issues and concerns.
*Experienced Desired:*
- Manufacturing test equipment design and implementation
- Knowledge of National Instruments equipment
- Knowledge of PCAD schematic
- Experience working in larger development teams (>5 designers)
*Principal Accountabilities:*
- Design of manufacturing test equipment (software and analog)
- Work with outside suppliers in the design / fabrication of this
equipment
- Oversee the qualification of this equipment (Gage studies, cycling,
etc.)
- Document test systems (Schematics, BOM’s)
