Associates handle system functionality for the business processes of customer orders, shipments, prices, billings, and accounts receivable. Additionally, business solutions provide sales reporting and data analysis capabilities. Some of the software packages supported or used include the SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) module, Vertex, and Versa. The team has also developed and supports many custom applications using the Microsoft Office toolset. This position applies expertise in a business/technical system area to an information technology tool set, in an attempt to automate manual effort. The candidate must be able to interpret user requirements into SAP configuration settings or identify opportunities using new IT technology. This person will design and develop new processes and will participate in unit and integration testing efforts. The position requires complete business documentation of processes. The position will troubleshoot and investigate issues as they arise. This position will participate in projects, as needed. It is not a project manager position. Skill Sets Required: ***Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills required. Fluent in SAP's SD module, with proficiency in SD configuration as well as the technical expertise to interpret user requirements into functional and technical specifications. ? Must have 5-7 years specific SAP SD business/technical process area experience. ? Must have a minimum of 10 years of practical IT experience. ? Strong Functional knowledge of upstream and downstream SD processes ? Up to date knowledge of all standard SAP 4.7 SD functionality ? Experience in analyzing current system customization ?
