DB2 UDB, Chicago, 6+ Months; Rate: Market
The skills of the person we are looking for in order of importance:
The position will be based in Chicago during the development phases:
DB2 UDB deployment automation
DB2 UDB self-service scripts for SPE performance monitoring
The position will eventually transition to Scottsdale to provide off-hours DB2,
DB2 UDB (midrange), monitoring and problem resolution as well as on-going
self-service database scripting. Shawn has added the following:
Strong DBA experience - UDB on AIX ( Mainframe experience
via DB2 Connect)
Strong Shell Scripting
Requirements Analysis /Design documentation
Ability to clearly articulate the design/implementation to
the group and get their buy-in.
Development of Requirement Specs, Technical Specs
Team Player, Pro-Active Professional
This person will start in less than two weeks if we find the right person.
Must pass background check and drug screen. Please send me the rates when
