   - Develops and prepares computer systems requirements and develops
   procedures to process data.
   - Analyzes data problems and determines techniques and requirements most
   feasible for processing the data that are coherent with best practices in
   the capital markets. Prepares workflow based solutions and details processes
   dealing with automated data generation and retrieval. Prepares definition of
   functional problems and makes recommendations for processes and/ or software
   to deliver solutions.
   - Develops analytical reports or other products. Graduate degree
   preferred For Information Initiative, this position requires background in
   Capital Markets and a functional, working knowledge of the products
   (Equities, Fixed Income) that comprise the data the person will work with.
   - Also needs prior working knowledge of databases.
   - Experience with Accounting and Financial Reporting is essential.
   Finally, strong communication and interpersonal skills are required - the
   ability to navigate through an organization and form bridges with multiple
   constituencies is a key success factor.
   - Ability to gather consensus and present issues for consideration and
   debate a plus.

 Role:

   - Work with business groups to determine business needs for data as
   follows: bull; Introduce and nurture the concept of data stewardship across
   multiple user groups throughout the organization.
   - Determine core data needs and data delivery needs, define requirements
   and confirm understanding across groups for data needs. bull; Ensure that
   adequate controls and procedures are in place to ensure data quality is
   accurate and reviewed as it is reported and consolidated across the Asset
   Management Group.
   -  Work with subsidiaries to enhance their data controls at the point of
   entry into their reporting systems.
   - Develop, structure and implement change management process for data
   both at the consolidated level and nurture this process throughout the
   organization.
   - Ensure adjustments of data where needed and focus on consistency of
   process.
   - Establish reference sources for data, and promote central development
   of standards across in consultation with the multiple stakeholders within
   the organization. bull; Ensure that the data across the enterprise conforms
   to the following standards:
   - Accessibility, Accuracy, Completeness, Consistency, Integrity,
   Timeliness and Validity. Key Competencies and Requirements: Prior Database
   management experience to include data consolidation and input.
   - Broad knowledge of all major security types and asset classes, as well
   as experience with accounting reporting and management reporting. Experience
   with computer systems, including database and Microsoft office tools,
   particularly MS Excel and MS Access.
   - Additionally, experience with industry accounting systems (PAM, Camera)
   and Trade Capture Systems (Client PTS, River) are also key value adds for
   this position.
   - Dedicated team player with strong sense of ownership and follow through
   skills.

 Education: Bachelors degree required, Financial Market experience of 5-8
years preferred. CFA or similar designation, or working toward that
designation is a plus.
