Sr. P/L SQL Oracle Developer Duration: 12 Months Location: Can be either Jersey City, NJ or Pennington, NJ Locals Preferred Job Description: * This is a requisition for an Oracle application developer with a 7+ years experience with PL/SQL scripting and application performance tuning. * Key responsiblities include design, development, data modeling, data normalization. * Must be able to lead junior developers and provide necessary technical expertise. * Solid analytical, development and communication skills. * Must be very strong in pl/sql and query writing, query tuning. * Should be able to write packages, procedures, functions, and triggers as well as be able to create tables with constraints and that are indexed. * Good DDL and DML writing skills are essential as well as being able to write complex queries for reporting. * Candidate also needs to be familiar with writing dynamic sql, and using collection data types. * Should be able to tune your own code as well as existing code. * Needs to be able to read and write technical documents and specs. * Should be able to use SQLLDR to load data files and knowledge UTL_FILE packages. * Must have knowledge of how version control works. * Should know how to check code in and out of source control. * Knowledge of .Net 3.5 and Visual Studio 2008 is a plus. Tools Utilized: TOAD, SqlPlus, TFS for source control, Oracle RDBMS.
