*Business Analyst: **Location*: Chicago & Dallas area *End Date:* 12/31/2010 - All candidates must be able to interview IN PERSON, no exceptions (do not submit a candidate that needs a phone screen) - We have some additional needs for SOLID business analysts with EXCELLENT communication and peopleskills. *Description/Responsibility* - Work with a team of business analysts responsible for the overall requirements deliverable on the* Project.* - Work as a liaison among stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies for one or many information systems. - Define and document business, user, functional, and system requirements using appropriate documentation techniques to describe statements of the goals, objectives, or needs of a particular stakeholder or group of stakeholders (on projects of high complexity). - Work with business partners within multiple business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies. - Translate high-level business requirements into functional specifications for the IT organization and manage changes to such specifications. - Obtain consensus by facilitating communication between business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation. - Provide estimates for project management and change management activities through analysis of requirements effort, resources, and technology. - Participate in formulating and defining system solutions and objectives, based on user needs and a thorough understanding of business processes. - Elicit, analyze, communicate and validate requirements based on assigned project workstreams. - Define and manage requirement sets throughout the project life-cycle - Provide traceability across the project life-cycle, tracking requirements status, managing changes to requirements and versions of requirement specifications, and tracing individual requirements to other project phases and work products.
