*Job Title: *DB2 DBA ***Job Req: *- a few years of Oracle database administration skills, experience both in operations as well as development support. Prefer oracle 10 or 11, with RAC, and OEM experience on IBM AIX and/or Sun Solaris. (Prefers v 11 over 10g. 10g okay) (OEM required, RAC is nice-to-have). - Up to 2 years of DBA AND DEVELOPMENT experience with DB2 UDB on LINUX (SUSE or any flavor of UNIX acceptable) - Skills and experience in Oracle and DB2 UDB database architecture design highly desirable, especially in Oracle. - Successful candidate will have a strong service and partnering attitude, and strong consulting and problem solving acumen and aptitude - Strong consideration will be given to candidates demonstrating an earnest willingness to be a permanent employee should the opportunity presents itself. - must be willing to work oncall and wear a pager. ***This person will be working on applications that support POS systems for the clients retail locations.
