Including ment or ing, assigning tasks, providing critical feedback, and assisting with hiring process.* *· Assist server and database administrat or s as needed f or upgrades, configuration issues, database design, perf or mance tuning, and general problem-solving.* *· Design, develop, code, test, debug, document, and maintain Java-based applications using WSAD, J2EE (Servlets, JSPs, EJBs), SQL, JDBC, MQ, DB2.* *· Keep department peers and management inf or med of project status and potential changes and issues that could impact staffing plans, schedules, or w or k deliverables.* *· Troubleshoot and debug applications, analyze production issues and develop and implement sound technical solutions.* *· Provide 24 hour daily production and technical supp or t to Java-based systems.* *· Responsibility and auth or ity to follow the quality management system as applicable f or this position.* *· Involved with all aspects of System (Software) Development Lifecycle across all projects of web application development. * *· Co or dinate Architecture and Design decisions across web application development projects. * *· Evaluate new toolsets and/ or framew or ks to determine feasibility in existing web architecture. * *· Design and build common web components to be implemented across web application development. * *· W or k with application designers to ensure that design and coding standards are being met. * *· Ensure that web standards are documented and maintained effectively. * *· Web Sphere P or tal administration 6.0 / 6.1 - XML access, release builder, config engine, p or tlet deployment and wsadmin scripting experience * *· Web Sphere P or tal 6.0 / 6.1 - Themes and Skins development and deployment * *· Web Sphere P or tal 6.0 / 6.1- Personalization * *· Single sign-on * *· 5+ years of experience in distributed application development using Object Oriented design/programming, JAVA, J2EE, XML/XLST, EJB, JSP, Servlets, JDBC, HTML, JavaScript, Struts framew or k and JSF. * *· Proven experience as a Seni or Websphere P or tal Developer (P or tlet to P or tlet communication, integration and presentation services)* *· Development experience with IBM P or tlet Fact or y* *· 3+ years of experience with the entire lifecycle of Websphere P or tal 6.x / Content Management including the development process, configuration, and production roll out* *· Excellent knowledge of personalization, security, content management, integration and perf or mance tuning aspects of the Websphere P or tal Server 6.x* *· Expert level administration skills and experience in a highly available, clustered and multi-tiered environmental configuration including HTTP Server, Tivoli Direct or y Server, Websphere P or tal, Omnifind and Lotus Connections* *· Familiarity with Shell, Websphere, and Websphere P or tal automation (wsadmin, jython, wpconfig, wpscript) to facilitate day-to-day tasks, debugging, and deployments* *· W or king knowledge and experience in defining plans, tuning, and troubleshooting Websphere P or tal perf or mance* *· Experience operating in a production supp or t capacity including issue triage, troubleshooting and resolution which also includes opening, managing PMRs and collecting requisite inf or mation.* *· Perf or m other duties as related.* *Have a great day,** ** ** Best Regards.....?
