* * * * We have an urgent opening for *Testing Lead - Fort Lauderdale**, FL.* This is a *Long term Contract* position. The Hourly rate is DOE. ** *Position Description/Responsibilities:* · As a testing lead, develop test plans for projects, estimate testing efforts, manage testers (on-site, off-site, off-shore), develop and/or QA test scripts, participate in test execution, track defects and manage to resolution, status reporting. · Will be managing the testing effort and test teams for multiple projects. · Also responsible to manage to testing process, build and track testing performance metrics and implement a continuous improvement program around testing to become more effective and efficient at testing and improve overall quality of software being developed. · Will be using IBM's rational suite of tools - must be familiar with the tools, how to best utilize and how to maximize automation and reuse around testing process. · Excellent written and oral communications to interface with client IT organization and business users.
