*EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:  *

Minimum 5 years of hands-on Oracle DBA experience and 3 years of Oracle EBS
application administration, including SSO/OID; Portal experience a plus;
demonstrated ability to provide excellent technical support in the most
challenging environment with limited resources;  excellent organizational,
interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to perform
comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment; ability to
produce required training and/or procedural (work instruction)
documentation; Practical knowledge of Oracle ERP/CRM application
administration (concurrent manager/requests) knowledge; experience with
least one packaged helpdesk/ticket tracking application; Strong SQL*Plus
knowledge and experience required

 *JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:*

1.    Responsible for providing tier 3 support and incident management for
the production application (M&O), interacting directly with end-users,
client application administrators, and functional and technical  resources

2.    Preliminary troubleshooting to determine if reported problems are
expected standard/customized feature/functionality or unexpected
exceptions/bugs, including root cause analysis (RCA) and reporting

3.    Documenting problems reported including problem statement, all error
messages encountered, and all steps required re-creating the problem for
research and resolution

4.    Delivering, explaining, recreating/demonstrating the problem to
functional/technical analysts as necessary

5.    Actively monitoring tier 3 ticket queue, triage and assign ticket to
functional/technical analysts as necessary

6.    Perform tier 3 defect/improvement and overall SLA operational and
performance reporting as necessary

7.    Assist in user group meetings, defect/improvement ticket
prioritization, reporting, and tracking

8.    Participating in system integration and performance testing and
assist/support user acceptance testing

9.    Developing and maintaining application check lists and work
instructions

10.  Developing and maintaining application end-to-end test scripts for
patch/release regression testing. Carefully track and monitor patch
releases.

11.  Developing and maintaining procedures/manual for application and
database support/maintenance activities, including System Maintenance,
System Operating Manual, and Application Modification and

       Upgrade Procedures

12.  Coordinate production release steps and completion and posting of
application release notes as applicable

13. Coordinate Oracle SRs for technical issues and monitor SR and metalink
for timely resolution of issues.

14. Maintain Production databases and work with System Administrators as
necessary to ensure Production systems are carefully managed to maximus
uptime and minimize downtime.

15. Maintain non-Production database and work with System Administrators to
rebuild/refresh environments in a timely manner.

16. Other duties as assigned.
