This system is a new application being deployed to replace a legacy system that manages client’s investment portfolio and related security transactions and reporting. *Experience:* 6+ years of Cognos Model experience 6+ years of Cognos report writing experience 3+ years of Informatica experience 3+ years of SQL experience 3+ years experience with an Oracle RDMS *Skills:* Proficient with Data Mart modeling and developing Cognos models. Proficient with SQL to extract data from Oracle tables Proficient with Cognos report writing Proficient with Informatica and working with XML files. Requires prior financial systems experience. Requires being part of a project team and learning and utilizing new skills. Requires strong development and coding skills to implement solutions based on requirements. Requires the ability to elicit additional requirement details from customers. Requires strong communication and documentation skills from both a business and technology perspective. Requires excellent customer service and interpersonal skills to work effectively with peers, customers, and third party vendors. Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills. Must be self-motivated and take initiative. Strong organizational skills; ability to meet deadlines. Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. *Experience with any the following is a plus:* UC4 Mercury Quality Center *Responsibilities:* Collaborates with end users and project team members on development of requirements. Collaborates with analysts and/or users on requirements (including testing). Submits time estimates for project deliverables Advise manager of risks, issues, and concerns. Adheres to established process/procedural standards. Learn new software tools and skills as needed. Establish an open relationship with customers, teammates, and other members of the client's IT Services organization. Keep open verbal and electronic communications with all areas concerning reporting and issue resolution. Document issues and their resolution in appropriate forums.
