*Job Title : Senior Business Analyst Location : Washington, DC Duration : 5 Months Rate : $43/Hr* Job Purpose: Analyze and design Web based system based on detailed Business and Functional Requirements Duties: Learn and apply new technologies to optimally create system designs Facilitate Joint Analysis and Design (JAD) sessions, as required Perform requirements gathering Produce analysis and design documents Experience in ramping up on the client’s environment Leading technical and other design sessions Experience with requirements, functional and technical (database) design in a .NET 3.5, software factory, Team Foundation Server, and MS SQL Server (2000 or 2005) environment Experience with Team Foundation Server, iRise, and SharePoint Experience in Rational Suite and Unified Modeling Language developing sequence, collaboration, use case diagrams. Assist in the preparation of project plans and schedules for the project Coordinate all aspects of work for the successful completion of the project Communicate regularly with internal and external customer, as appropriate, in order to ensure the delivery of high quality service Meets information standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying work process improvements; implementing new technology Plans projects by analyzing and confirming client requirements; studying system capabilities; completing feasibility study. Optimizes solutions by confirming workflow diagram; evaluating alternative solutions; writing programs. Verifies results by completing tests; obtaining client approval. Secures information by designing access controls. Prepares clients to use system by conducting training; providing resources; answering questions; resolving problems. Provides system reference by writing documentation. Maintains data dictionary by revising and entering definitions. Prepares programmer/analysts by providing educational opportunities. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations. Accomplishes information systems and organization mission by completing related results as needed. Qualifications: DFDs, ERDs, Data Modeling, System Architecture Diagrams Requirements, technical, and design documentation Sharepoint, Team Foundation Server, iRise Rational and UML experience SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), ASP.NET, SQL, XML, Enterprise Architecture Design Patterns Master’s Degree in computer science or related field Last 2+ years worked as professional, designing ASP.NET web applications Strong oral and written skills Law enforcement or public safety experience a plus ----------------------------------------- Warm Regards , Shawn - Sr. Technical Recruiter Riviera Consulting LLC.
