*Job Title : Web Developer
Location : Hopewell, NJ
Duration : 6 months
Rate : $45/Hr

Local candidates in NJ, NY, PA, DE preferred*
Design and develop web based scientific applications to support Discovery
Medicine and Clinical Pharmacology within BMS R&D. This position will be
working with internal application and data architects to deliver
applications, web services and components for a number of research projects.
A successful candidate must have strong independent application development
skills but also be able to contribute significantly to analysis, prototype
and design activities. These evolving processes will in turn drive
subsequent development requirements. The ability t to thrive in RAD/Agile
iterative and incremental development environments is a must. This position
will be based out of the Lawrenceville NJ site. Travel to Hopewell, N.J. and
Wallingford, Ct. might be required as the project progresses.
• Create and analyze application requirements from interactions with
scientists, project managers, and capability managers.
• Strong skills in object-oriented software design and development, design
pattern, framework, n tier architecture with at least or more years
experience
• Working knowledge of software development life cycles, configuration
management and best software engineering practices.
• Advanced expertise in APS.NET, C#, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, HTML/CSS,
PL/SQL, and in-depth knowledge of XML, SOA
and related Web Service technologies. Experience with AtomPub or Java
Web Development would also be a plus.
• Experience in creating detailed project outlines and application design
specifications and conducting quality reviews of code
developed by other development staff.
Experience in scientific application development and functional
knowledge of the BioPharmaceutical R&D is a strong plus
