Location: San Francisco, CA
Duration: 10 months
Duties
· Provide technical development in the application of .NET, Oracle
and other technologies to meet critical business needs for Regulatory
Affairs.
· Provide guidance and mentoring for junior programmer/analysts in
the processes and technologies for software development.
· Work directly with staff at all levels in Regulatory Affairs to
understand their information management needs and quickly provide high
quality solutions.
· Code, test, and document prototype and production quality systems.
· Maintain and enhance existing applications.
Skills
· Eight or more years providing solutions for the management
of business information.
· Focused on providing solutions to business problems, rather than a
specific technology, with a demonstrated ability to develop unique and
creative solutions to business problems.
· Experience with a wide range of tools and technologies, focusing
on .NET, specifically VB.NET and C#, technologies with the ability to
quickly learn and effectively utilize new tools, technologies and
techniques.
· Experience with relational database design and development,
including Oracle and SQL Server, and report generation tools, e.g. Business
Objects.
· Experience with Microsoft Word API for .Net is highly desirable
· Experience with Agile software development processes, quickly
developing systems that can adapt to changing business processes is
required.
· Demonstrated delivery in the development, implementation,
integration and support of a wide range of scientific and business
applications.
· Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to lead a project team.
· Experience with Java technologies a strong plus
· Experience with Documentum, iText and Adobe APIs a strong plus
· Some pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience is highly
desirable.
Education
· BS/BA in computer sciences, mathematics, life sciences or
business
