*Job Description:*
* 4 - 6 years of testing experience
* Ability to determine which types of existing manual test cases are
automatable, which types are not, and then be able to explain why
* Experience with *Automated testing methodologies, manual test case
creation for automated purposes,* and general requirements decomposition for
test automation is a must
* Experience with scripting automation tools like *WinRunner, Silktest,
and QTP*
* Clear and concise verbal, written and interpersonal skills including
the ability to work in teams
* Analytical and problem-solving skills coupled with initiative and
accountability
* Knowledge of testing methodologies and the Software Development Life
Cycle
* *Experience with requirements review and manual test verification and
results/metrics/KPI reporting or reporting software*
* Ability to prioritize, organize, and accomplish multiple tasks, both
as part of a team and independently
* Ability to manage time while working on multiple projects
* Experience executing automated scripts using *QTP, WinRunner,
Selenium, Ruby and Quality Center*
* Experience debugging and executing *WinRunner, QTP or Silktest scripts
for regression testing* is a plus (script creation experience is not a
requirement, but is considered a plus)
* Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements
* Develop and execute automated test cases for both new and existing
feature regression tests
* Execute manual and automated test cases according to documented test
plans
* Verify accuracy of test results and document results
* Document defects in defect tracking system
* Perform re-tests to verify resolution of defects
* Reproduce, investigate, and debug software issues
