Location:chicago,IL Duration:6 months *Please send your resumes to [email protected]* Description: Our client is looking for an application support consultant to support their contract and pricing solutions. The candidate must be an expert in data analysis and problem solving, and have excellent Oracle SQL and PL/SQL skills. An in depth understanding of Oracle data structures and relationships, reporting and production data updates is critical. UNIX knowledge and experience from an application development perspective is required. The application front end is a vendor supplied fat client installed on a Window’s Citrix server connecting through ODBC to the Oracle/UNIX back end. A Web reporting front end utilizing ASP is also used. The ability to support these components is required. Experience using the Autosys Scheduler and Oracle’s SQR report tool would be helpful. The individual will work with business representatives to understand issues and requirements. They must posses the analytical and technical skills to resolve application issues and develop solutions.
