*Position: Test Lead* *Duration: 6 months * *Location: Lakeland, FL* *Must be US Citizen or Green Card holder* *Rate: $40 Max Rate (Sorry for the low rate)* Skills Required: Ø *5 Years experience in software QA and testing. * Ø *Of the 5 years, at least 2 years should include test lead activities. (NOTE: 3 YEARS MUST BE ANALYTICAL)* Ø *Knowledge of SQA and testing concepts* Ø Experience creating test plans and test scenarios for software applications Ø Experiences reviewing project requirements and design specifications for quality Ø Experience defining testing requirements that ensure the solution provided meets the system requirements Ø Experience in leading team of test analysts and testers Aptitude and interest in learning client testing requirements Ø Ability to adapt to and follow client testing methodology and standards. Ø Ability to prioritize testing based on risk assessment Ø Must possess a strong work ethic and a desire to lead testing of large and complex projects Ø Must have excellent teamwork and communication skills, including the ability to facilitate project meetings. Ø Must possess good planning and organizational skills Ø Must have an excellent record of attendance and punctuality *Desired Skills: SQL querying skills* Experience using Test Director/Quality Center specifically for defining requirements coverage, writing test cases and executing test cases. *Work Description:* * * Works directly with project team to understand the system requirements Reviews the requirements and design specifications for quality (this includes ensuring that deliverables are free from ambiguity) Uses the project deliverables to determine testing requirements that define the testing to be developed and executed for the project Participates in risk assessment to assist with testing priorities and scheduling Documents the testing requirements, test environment, and test schedule in a test plan for approval from program and project leads Facilitates the design of test cases and oversees the creation of test case steps Uses the testing requirements and system specifications to design complex test cases which adequately test the system Reviews and approves the test cases written by project test analysts Creates test labs that will be executed by the project test team Sets up the test environment and ensures system configuration is correct Executes test labs and test cases in Quality Center, verifies testing results against expected results and tracks defects Reviews and approves test results from test cases executed by other project test analysts Facilitates defect tracking ad problem determination throughout the project life cycle Participates actively in mentoring new associates by orienting them to client, building testing skills required for the position, and teaching new associates about the applications they will be testing.
