Build custom frameworks
Ensure that code adheres to specs

to specification, for the enterprise suite
Self-start in the process of accurately assessing and documenting

Senior/Tech Lead .Net Developer/SQL Server developer for 3 plus month
Windows Server refresh project which includes hardware refresh, server
virtualization, OS upgrade, SQL upgrade and server/application migration and
consolidation.

*Responsibilities:
*
* Lead a group of developers and testers

* Evaluate compatibility of existing applications using various technologies
i.e. .net, C , and *sql* with new platform (OS 2008, *SQL* 2008) and makes
necessary modifications to the application, test it and migrate to
production

* Evaluate current applications and provide recommendations for
consolidation

* Responsible for the analysis, design, evaluation, modification, testing
and implementation of extranet and intranet applications and solutions
supporting all functional areas and business    units

* Evaluate and recommend tools, changes and upgrades for the database, web
and application environment

* Code review and recommendations for changes or new database objects

* Follow Dev, Qa and Production environment with installs and promotions of
database, web and application objects

* Implement all logical database changes after approval

* Implement all web and application changes after approval

* Ongoing support for database, web and applications including Maestro jobs

* Actively monitor the database environment to increase efficiency, and
improve reliability (Isolate, determine root cause, and resolve).

* Troubleshoot and provide technical solutions to database issues
encountered by new and existing applications in the environments

* Provide optimization and performance tuning for all database designs.

*Technical Skills:
*
* .Net programming skills with C . Should be able to convert .net framework
1.1 apps to framework 2.0 and higher.

* Visual Basic 6.0

* Classic ASP

* Microsoft *SQL*/Transact-*SQL* as related to both *SQL* *Server* 2000 and
*SQL* *Server* 2008. Should be able to migrate from *sql* code from
*sql*2000 to
*sql* 2008.

* Stored Procedures and Triggers

* Expert level knowledge of DTS Packages in *SQL* 2000. Should be able
convert DTS packages to SSIS in *sql* 2008.

* Knowledge of SAP .Net connector to interface with SAP BAPIs.

* Oracle database development using PL/*SQL* procedures.

* IIS web *server* * Internet Information *Server*

* HTML, Javascript, CSS

* XML, Web services
